Beckham rolls into town
DAVID Beckham turned a few heads on a return to his old shopping haunts yesterday.
The England captain toured Manchester city centre in a blacked-out Hummer H2, customised with wheels that looked just like they had been removed from a 1920s horseless carriage.
The Hummer H2 retails at around £280,000 plus the cost of importing it from the United States and is one of a fleet of nine luxury cars owned by Beckham.
It has been reported that his wife Victoria spent £22,000 in Harrods before Christmas on a miniature Hummer for eldest son Brooklyn.
